Anti-drug operation by the State Police in Scampia. Yesterday evening, agents of the General Prevention Office arrested a 54-year-old Neapolitan, already known to the police for specific precedents, on charges of illicit possession of narcotic substances.
During a routine territorial control service, the police officers, passing through via Federico Fellini, noticed a man who, standing in the street, was receiving a banknote from the passenger of a car. Immediately after, the subject reported the presence of a second man, who headed towards a bag hidden between the wheels of a parked car to take a package.
The officers intervened immediately, stopping the second man and finding him in possession of a package containing cocaine. The search of the bag revealed a significant quantity of narcotics: 14 wraps of cocaine, 21 sticks of hashish, 21 bags of marijuana and 15 opiate cylindersThe 54-year-old was arrested on the spot on charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
