The Guardia di Finanza of the Provincial Command of Naples have executed a preventive seizure for over 640 thousand euros, ordered by the GIP of the Court of Naples, against a hotel company and its legal representative.
The operation started from a tax audit conducted by the Guardia di Finanza of Ischia, which revealed a complex tax evasion system. The hotel, located in the heart of Ischia and known for the quality of its services and the high influx of customers, would have systematically hidden revenues from the tax authorities.
According to investigators, the company maintained incomplete official accounting records and frequently used cash for purchases that were not recorded through invoices. The actual unaccounted receipts were stored in a backup file on a computer at the facility.
Following the investigations, financial assets, company shares and real estate units in the province of Naples, attributable to the suspect, were seized. The investigation continues to ascertain further details on the extent and methods of the evasion.
