NAPLES – Night of violence in the city: the carabinieri intervened in Piazza Carità after the report of an injured person, a 44-year-old man, originally from Sri Lanka, on the ground with a bloody face and in an apparent state of drunkenness.
According to an initial reconstruction, the man was attacked not far from the center by individuals who have not yet been identified. After the attack, the victim headed toward Piazza Carità, where he collapsed to the ground.
The man was transported to thehospital Cardarelli, suffering intercostal fractures and a head injury. Despite the severity of the injuries, his life is not in danger.
The Carabinieri of the company Napoli The Center has started investigations to clarify the dynamics of the incident. Among the hypotheses, a fight between compatriots that ended in a violent beating.

It's a shame that these situations of violence still exist in the city, I hope that the police will be able to find the culprits and that the man will recover soon from the injuries he suffered during the attack.
