Massimo Liuzzi, a fifty year old originally from Giugliano, was released from the Bellizzi Irpino prison. Considered a Neapolitan referent of international drug trafficking linked to Raphael Imperial, Liuzzi will now benefit from a probationary regime with social services, after the Supervisory Magistrate of Avellino accepted the requests of his lawyers, Luigi Poziello and Alberico Galluccio.
Liuzzi will currently be placed in a work activity in Melito and will reside in Giugliano in Campania. Previously, he had been sentenced to ten years in prison for criminal association aimed at international drug trafficking, a sentence later reduced to six years and eight months by the Court of Appeal.
In the legal context, the trial against Raphael Imperial, currently a collaborator of justice and detained in a protected site, together with fourteen other people already convicted in the first instance with an abbreviated trial. However, the trial was postponed to April 1 due to some notification defects.

Massimo Liuzzi's situation is complicated and makes us reflect on how the legal system works. The fact that he was released from prison after such a long sentence is strange, but it is important that the laws are followed. Let's hope he doesn't make any more mistakes.
