For a cancelled flight, a family of Napoli received 1524 euros in compensation. A cancellation of the Palermo-Naples flight on September 19 by the Easyjet company, which communicated the cancelled flight with little notice.
The Justice of the Peace of Palermo intervened on the matter and, a few days ago, sentenced Easyjet to pay 1524 euros to the passengers.
"The Justice of the Peace of Palermo - commented ItaliaRimborso, which defended the passengers - applied Community Regulation 261/2004, which protects air passengers even in cases of cancelled flights, with passengers who can request financial compensation. In this case there were no strike circumstances or adverse weather conditions".
