“A Napoli we are completing the video surveillance intervention with the intervention in Chiaia for another 51 video surveillance systems in the streets and squares”.
This was declared by the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, during the Facebook live on Friday. “The Campania Region – he recalled – has financed 70 installations in the Sanità district, including cameras and license plate detectors, 50 systems in the Decumani and we have already installed 14 cameras in Chiaia.
Today we are completing the intervention in Chiaia. We are doing all this with regional funds and the management will be by the Ministry of the Interior”.
“Obviously we remember, based on the experience with the previous administration, not with this one, the obligation of the Municipality to pay theEnel for the supply of electricity otherwise the cameras are turned off.
Since we have had this experience, we strongly recommend that the cameras remain in operation by paying the Enel bill”, the governor concluded.
