It comes out today, Friday 15 March, digitally “There are no more singer-songwriters” (Street Label Records – Believe), the new album by the singer-songwriter NAPOLEON.
The first single from the album, “Quando cade un dente”, will be on radio rotation from today.
“Non ci sono + i cantautori” is an album written, composed and recorded by the artist in a very short time; the ideas followed one another in an avalanche of sounds and images that showed him the photograph of each single text. Ten songs arrived all together, holding his breath and pushing for each to find its own space.
«This album was born after I fell in love with the sound of an acoustic concert I attended, and it was written to be listened to and reproduced in the same way, with the same warmth with which it was played and with the same color with which it was imagined», says Napodano about “Non ci sono + i cantautori”.
From the same day, “Quando cade un dente” (When a tooth falls) will be on radio rotation, the first single from the album. A song that from the first notes may seem like a nursery rhyme, a children's song, but in reality hides a metaphor that accompanies a much bigger fear. As the instruments make their way, the metaphor becomes clearer and clearer: when a tooth falls out, it is often because it has been pushed away.
"I chose this song as the launch single for the new album because it's the one that best represents my way of writing and living music. It's metaphorical and very clear, almost bare but warm, without too many frills, little noise and very Napodano", he says.

Biography
Napodano is a frustrated but happy singer-songwriter. After years of study and incessant forays into worlds and musical genres, travel and experiences around Europe, he found his home in Belgium. His artistic path was illuminated by the adoption of a pair of rats. Deeply loving their nature and behavior, he enters into symbiosis with the rodents, finding the inspiration to create the single that bears the name of his first EP, “Storia di un Ratto”, and with the same song he won the “MEI – La Musica è Lavoro” award in 2022, and the “ACEP-UNANIA” plaque at the “Premio Bertoli” in 2023. Together with Street Label Records in Italy, he produced his first album, “Sarà la Libertà”, followed by the singles “Maledetti anni '80”, “Pillole Blu” and “Faccio indie” which accompanied Napodano and his band on a radio and live tour, between a pandemic crisis and a possible world war. In 2022 he released “A Bassa Fedeltà”, an EP containing seven songs written in captivity during the pandemic and performed and recorded in his small domestic bunker. On March 15, 2024, “Non ci sono + i cantautori” was released on all digital platforms, his new album from which the single “Quando cade un dente” was taken.
