Il Police Commissioner of Naples has dealt a heavy blow to nightlife crime, issuing 54 orders banning access to urban areas (DACUR) against an equal number of individuals involved in a long series of crimes.

Among the areas prohibited to 'bandits', some of the busiest areas of the city are listed, such as stations, popular neighborhoods and shopping streets. The goal is clear: to isolate criminal elements and restore tranquility to Neapolitans.
The measures, which can last up to two years, include a ban on accessing public places, staying in certain areas and, in some cases, even entering the city. A decisive action that demonstrates the will of the police to fight crime without respite.
Specifically, 16 of these, pursuant to art. 13bis of Legislative Decree 14/2017, as amended by Legislative Decree 130/2020, with a duration of one and two years, were issued against an equal number of people, aged between 2 and 14, responsible for carrying objects capable of offending, injuries and resistance to a Public Official, aggravated personal injuries, failure to provide assistance, brawl, attempted robbery and attempted aggravated theft near some commercial activities between January and April 52.
Another 16 measures, pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 14/2017, as amended by Legislative Decree 130/2020, lasting 12, 18 and 24 months, were imposed on individuals aged between 17 and 61, for illicit possession and dealing of narcotic substances, crimes committed between November 2022 and May 2024 or following definitive convictions.

Finally, 22 provisions, pursuant to art. 10 of Legislative Decree 14/2017, as amended by Legislative Decree 130/2020, were issued against the same number of people already sanctioned with the order to leave because they were again caught carrying out the activity of unauthorized parking respectively in Naples, Bagnoli and Pozzuoli.
And in particular in the areas of the Naples railway station and in the streets Miano, Sauro, Santa Lucia, Chiatamone, Orsini, Gonzaga, Mergellina, Sedile di Porto, Filangieri, dell'Incoronata, Marino, Barbagallo, Di Pozzuoli, Battisti; in the squares Matteotti and Trieste and Trento; in piazzale Tecchio; in the avenues Kennedy and Giochi del Mediterraneo and, also, in corso Arnaldo Lucci.
