tragedy to Mugnano where a 54-year-old businessman took his own life.
It is Domenico Pezzurro, 54 years old, very well known in the town on the outskirts of Napoli including Mimmo the pezzerill.
He was found lifeless with a rope around his neck hanging from the grate of a plant shop on Via Circumvallazione. The arrival of an ambulance crew, alerted by some passers-by, only served to confirm his death.
The body was seized and the carabinieri began investigations. No letter was found explaining the reasons for the act.
The mayor also intervened on the tragedy Luigi Sarnataro: “We have just learned of the tragedy that occurred on the outer ring road of Mugnano. Our fellow citizen Domenico Pezzurro was found dead. We are in shock.
I extend my deepest condolences on behalf of myself and the city administration to the family and friends."
