Residents have been complaining for some time that the road on Via D. Russo, which also has no sidewalks, has become a sort of racing circuit, with cars speeding along at breakneck speeds despite there being a 30 km/h speed limit.

“In two weeks, this is the second victim, among visitors to our territory, that we mourn. Truly absurd and terrible. There is a security problem, those who come to visit here cannot risk their lives.

In particular, road safety is a topic we have been addressing for some time. We need more anti-speed devices, speed bumps and raised pedestrian crossings and a crackdown on crazy speeds”, these are the words of the deputy of the Green-Left alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
