This is what emerges from the ranking of the most visited pages on the online encyclopedia in Italian, released by Wikimedia Italia thanks to the contribution of the volunteers who feed and support the project.
At the top of users' preferences stands out Jannik Sinner, the young talent of Italian tennis who, with over 5 million views, confirms himself among the most loved and followed personalities of the year. Football has also attracted the public's interest, with the Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli in the spotlight. To complete the sporting picture, the 2024 European Football Championship has recorded millions of visits, demonstrating the enthusiasm of Italians for one of the most anticipated events of the year.
There was no lack of interest in culture and show, as evidenced by the great success of the film “Povere Creature!”, which won over critics and audiences. At the same time, research dedicated to the singer Mango and his daughter Angelina Mango confirms the charm of the new and old generations of artists who continue to thrill Italians.
