Late yesterday morning, law enforcement made a significant arrest in Forio d'Ischia.
A 26-year-old woman, resident of Castel Volturno, was stopped for illegal possession of narcotics.
During a territorial control service, the officers of the Ischia Police Station happened to pass by via San Vito. Here they noticed a woman whose suspicious reaction at the sight of the police attracted their attention.
The woman, in fact, tried to move away quickly in an attempt to avoid a check.
The officers, intervening promptly, stopped her shortly thereafter. During the inspection it was discovered that ten blocks of hashish, weighing over a kilogram in total, were hidden in the woman's backpack. The operation represents another significant blow to illicit drug trafficking in the region.

The arrest of the woman in Forio d'Ischia seems to be an important fact for security. However, I wonder if there is more information on this case and how to improve the control of the territory.
