The initiative aimed to raise funds for the restoration of a painting with a reliquary in the Church of Carmine and to contribute to the creation of a stained glass window in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes.

"We are proud of the success of this evening - said Bruna Piscopo, president of the Rotary Club Sorrento - because it shows how much our community cares about protecting its artistic and cultural heritage. A special thanks goes to the principal of the San Paolo Institute, Prof. Amalia Mascolo, for having enthusiastically welcomed this initiative, to the students, who with their talent made the dinner a unique experience, and to the municipal administration for its support. Thanks also to Penisola Verde, always at the forefront for the enhancement of the territory."

The event, which also aimed to promote Sorrento citrus fruits thanks to the dishes and drinks served during the evening, was also attended by the President of the Sorrento City Council, Luigi Di Prisco, who underlined the importance of the initiative and the value of the Sorrento orange, a symbol of excellence of the territory: "Events like this represent a fundamental opportunity to promote our culture and support our traditions. The Sorrento orange is one of the most representative products of our land and promoting it means defending our identity".

At the end of the evening, which was attended by Massa Lubrense councilor Mina Minieri, among others, the president of the Rotary Club Sorrento Piscopo presented a special recognition to the principal Amalia Mascolo, to the president of the City Council Luigi Di Prisco and to the director of Penisola Verde, Luigi Cuomo, for their commitment and support to the success of the event.

An initiative that combined good food, art and solidarity, demonstrating once again the importance of collaboration between institutions, schools and associations for the protection of the city's cultural heritage.
