A press conference was held this morning at the Salerno Provincial Council Hall to present Vietri Cultura, which opens with the concerts and performances of Vietri in Scena. The Vietri Cultura project also launches a new visual communication brand for cultural activities and tourism promotions offered by the Municipality of Vietri sul Mare for annual events and celebrations, designed by graphic designer Esterino Manzolillo. The press conference was attended by the Mayor of Vietri sul Mare, Marcello Civale; the Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Giovanni De Simone; the Artistic Director, Maestro Luigi Avallone; Daniela Scalese, head of the organizing secretariat and president of the CEO association; Antonio Gazia, director of Congrega letteraria; Francesco Citarella, head of Informagiovani; Nunzia Schiavone, the event's presenter; Antonio Dura, director of Puracultura, Vietri sul Mare's magazine and media partner of Vietri Cultura; and representatives of the Vietri associations actively involved in the project. Over one hundred events are scheduled for 2018/2019, exploring music, literature, ceramics, food and wine, ethno-anthropological traditions, landscapes, and religious itineraries. All events are free to attend.
