Appointment from 19 pm with “La recita di Natale”. The musical comedy, written and directed by Guido Mastroianni, revolves around the story of Paul, an established theater director, who returns to his hometown in England after a resounding artistic flop, determined to revive the fortunes of a ramshackle parish company struggling with the Christmas show. This challenge will be an opportunity to resolve his own destiny and that of the people around him, against the backdrop of the musical magic of the Christmas holidays.
A fun and touching comedy, “La Recita di Natale” is a show for all families that will delight you with the most beautiful songs of the Christmas tradition, and embellished by the artistic-choreographic collaboration of Alessia Scermino and Serena D'Amore of ASD Balance.
The Theatre Season will continue throughout the holidays, with comedies for the whole family, on December 22 and 23 with “Natale in Casa Cupiello”, on December 28 with “Un problema… anzi tre!”, on January 6 and 7 with “Un figlio a sorpresa”.
Biographical notes
The Saranno Vietresi Cultural Association was founded in 2005 in Vietri sul Mare with the aim of introducing the younger generations to theatre, and especially to musicals and musical comedy. It has several shows under its belt, including “A Midsummer Night’s Dream – Shakespeare Swing”, “The Voices of the Scugnizzi”, “Charles Dickens – the man who invented Christmas”, “Passion – Opera Pop”, a CD entitled “The voices of Christmas”, and the organization of the multi-year cultural festival “Arte in movimento”, a six-day show and entertainment event with guests and names of national and international calibre.
