Civil protection in the region Campania issued aweather alert for strong winds and rough seas throughout the Campania region.
Winds from the south-southwest are expected throughout tomorrow, Friday, February 23, from 7 a.m. to 21 p.m., with possible local gusts. As a result, rough seas are expected, especially along the coasts exposed to the winds, with possible storm surges.
The Regional Operations Room has invited the Mayors to implement all necessary civil protection measures to deal with the effects of the expected phenomena, monitoring in particular the solidity of public greenery and mobile structures exposed to wind and wave motion.
It is important to point out that, although the color code normally used for alerts weather relating to hydrogeological risks due to rain and storms is green as flooding and phenomena deriving from heavy rain are not expected, however a warning of adverse weather conditions is in force for strong winds and rough seas.
