The nightmare of Vignale of Traversetolo thickens. After the grisly discovery of a newborn baby in a garden in early August, investigators have discovered the remains of a second child, casting an even darker shadow over the community.
A 22-year-old woman is already under investigation for the murder of her first newborn and the concealment of the corpse. The investigation, however, has now focused on the possibility of a second crime.
According to what has emerged, the girl confessed to having given birth to and killed a second child, whose remains were found in the same garden.
The silence of the country is deafening. The mayor Simone Dall'Orto expressed deep dismay at this double tragedy, calling it an “even more tragic and chilling” picture.
