Monday 30 September 2024 will be a special day for the little patients of the Santobono-Pausilipon Hospital in Napoli.At 14 pm, at the headquarters in via Mario Fiore, the famous Fiat Panda of the Third Scudetto of Naples, embellished with an evocative painting depicting Vesuvius and the number 3, symbol of the titles won by the Neapolitan team.
The ceremony will also be attended by the Technical Commissioner of the Italian National Football Team, Luciano Spalletti. The initiative, promoted by the Artis Suavitas APS Association and supported by Lever Touch SpA, saw the active participation of Antonio Larizza, president of the association, and Giovanni Liccardo, CEO of the company.
The delivery of the vehicle will take place in the hands of Rodolfo Conenna, general manager of the Santobono-Pausilipon Hospital, and representatives of the Santobono Pausilipon Foundation, Anna Maria Ziccardi and Flavia Matrisciano. The Fiat Panda, a work of art on four wheels, was decorated with the silhouette of Vesuvius surrounded by tricolor bands and the number 3, accompanied by the phrase "Strong men, strong destinies", the mantra of the Tuscan coach.
The vehicle was also autographed by all the players and members of the Napoli staff, protagonists of the triumphal ride that led to the conquest of the Scudetto.
“Thanks to the sensitivity of Luciano Spalletti and the perseverance of Giovanni Liccardo – says Antonio Larizza – we managed to make the mister's wish come true: that the Panda of the Tricolor could travel around Naples with a noble goal. With our association, which has a strong bond with the pediatric center of Campania and its Foundation, we wanted to make a concrete contribution to improve the lives of young patients".
The vehicle will be used to enhance the home medical care service offered by the hospital. “Mister Panda Spalletti will bring the hospital directly to the homes of children who need continuous care – explains Rodolfo Conenna –. Thanks to this precious gift, we will be able to offer specialized care directly at home, reducing hospitalizations and guaranteeing high quality services".
Anna Maria Ziccardi and Flavia Matrisciano, president and director of the Santobono Pausilipon Foundation, also expressed gratitude: “Home medicine is a project that is very close to our hearts, because it improves the quality of life of our little patients.
Thanks to Artis Suavitas, Giovanni Liccardo and above all Mister Spalletti, we will have a champion's car to bring a smile to our little champions".
