Benevento – A 25-year-old man was arrested in Benevento by the Flying Squad on charges of stalking to the detriment of wife, from which it is separating.

The attack is said to have taken place in the historic centre of the city, where the man met the woman in auto in the company of another person.
The sight of his wife with another man allegedly triggered his fury, leading him to attack the woman, beating her and attempting to strangle her.
The man was stopped by the agents of Deputy Commissioner Flavio Tranquillo and placed under house arrest by order of Deputy Prosecutor Marilia Capitanio.
