The anti-mafia prevention activity led by the prefect of Naples, Michele Di Bari, continues without stopping, with the aim of protecting the legal economy from the infiltration of organized crime.
On January 14, eight prohibitory orders were issued against as many companies operating in the Campania capital and in the surrounding municipalities of the metropolitan city.

These areas, as underlined in a note from the Prefecture, are considered particularly vulnerable to mafia infiltration and are therefore included in the so-called “white lists”, that is, the lists of economic sectors considered to be most sensitive and subject to rigorous controls.
“The fight against mafia infiltration in sensitive economic sectors is a priority – declared the prefect Michele Di Bari –. Through these bans, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting and protecting the legal economy, ensuring a safer environment for entrepreneurs who operate in compliance with the rules".
