The monthly appointment with Boscoreale Land Market -Paniere vesuviano. The event will be held from 9 am to 13 pm in Piazza Vargas in an area of the city with ample parking.
Several Vesuvian farmers will be present with their seasonal products (citrus fruits, cabbages, broccoli, fennel) and specialties preserved following traditional and natural techniques.
The initiative which aims to bring producers and citizens closer together reaches its seventh year in Boscoreale and is promoted by the Municipality of Boscoreale and from the Vesuvian conduct of SLOW-FOOD
It is recalled that in Boscoreale it is possible to visit the new National Park Museum and the national antiquarium “Man and environment in the Vesuvian territory” with the annexed Roman villa rustica which constitutes the only example of an agricultural farm outside the walls of ancient Pompeii.
In 2024, the archaeological excavations of Boscoreale recorded a significant increase in visitors + 1250 compared to 2023 (10.473 in total).
