Monte di Procida, a 57-year-old man arrested after resuming work at a seized construction site and attacking Carabinieri officers.
He was not stopped by either the seals or a complaint. A 57-year-old from Monte di Procida has decided to resume work on his illegal construction site, which was already seized months ago by the Carabinieri and marked off with the classic red and white tape. When officers from the local station showed up at the house for a check, the man lost his temper: he pushed the Carabinieri and insulted them, trying to prevent them from entering the construction site.
The violent reaction cost him dearly. The police immediately stopped him and arrested him for resisting a public officer. After the usual formalities, the 57-year-old was placed under house arrest, but not in the same residence where the illegal construction was carried out. He is now awaiting trial.
