De Rosa said: “On New Year's Eve the Penitentiary Police of Airola he stopped a young Roma woman who was carrying hidden drugs to deliver to her imprisoned boyfriend during the interview.
The drugs had been cleverly hidden inside some items of clothing, which were unstitched and professionally sewn back together so as not to arouse suspicion."

The trade unionist also underlines that “in 2025, when everything is automated, the facility's prison officers still operate as they did in the 80s, without any technological help, relying only on their intuition and professionalism.”

It is interesting to read about how the penitentiary police work in difficult conditions. However, I wonder how it is possible that in 2025 there is no technological help, this is a bit strange and worrying.
