The Rome Prosecutor's Office has requested the indictment of Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis for the 2019, 2020 and 2021 seasons.
The accusation is that of false accounting. Along with the president, the Neapolitan football club and Andrea Chiavelli, the patron's collaborator, were also called to answer to the accusations.
Capital gains investigations
The investigation focuses on alleged fictitious capital gains linked to player transfers. In particular, the spotlight is on the sale of defender Kostas Manolas in the summer of 2019 and the purchase of striker Victor Osimhen in 2020 from French club Lille.
