Vairano Scalo – He thought he had gotten away with it, but the meticulous investigations of the Carabinieri framed him. A 33-year-old Neapolitan, already known to the police for property crimes, was reached by the military of the Vairano Scalo Station, who notified him of an order to apply the precautionary measure of the obligation to reside in the municipality of residence.
The order, issued by the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, arose from charges of aggravated theft and damage to two schools.
The facts date back to the night between 23 and 24 May 2024, when unknown persons entered the school buildings di Vairano Patenora e Pietravairano, in the Caserta area, forcing entrance doors and tampering with alarm systems. In addition to damaging furniture and laboratories, the criminals stole a hard disk containing the recordings of the video surveillance system.
The investigation started immediately thanks to the complaints filed by the school principals.
The DNA samples, sent to the RACIS RIS Carabinieri laboratories in Rome, returned a single male genetic profile. The comparison with the database allowed to identify with certainty the 33-year-old Neapolitan, leading to the issuing of the precautionary measure.
Investigations are continuing to determine the possible involvement of accomplices.

The article reports a serious event, but the situation seems to be well managed by the authorities. It is important that more frequent checks are made in schools to prevent theft and damage. I hope that the person responsible receives a fair punishment.
