The mayor of Napoli Gaetano Manfredi has signed two eviction orders "ad horas" of the Yellow Sail and of the Red Sail of Scampia, the two buildings that are scheduled for demolition.

The ordinances were signed “for security reasons” and “due to the risks that threaten public and private safety”.
The two real estate units are owned by the Municipality of Naples and currently occupied, located in the Scampia district in via della Resistenza, block C – Vela Gialla and block D – Vela Rossa.
After the collapse of a balcony in the Celestial Sailing, which caused three victims at the end of July, in recent weeks the mayor and the prefect of Naples had already announced that work was underway to clear the other two sails.
