Castellammare. “To ensure a greater presence of Local Police officers in the Stabia nightlife area on weekends in November and December, in view of the Christmas holidays, we have decided, in agreement with the commander of the Municipal police Antonio Vecchione, to extend the presence of officers on the streets until midnight on Saturdays and Sundays." This was declared by Mayor Luigi Vicinanza.
The initiative aims to ensure greater security and prevent situations of disorder in the most frequented areas of the city. “A strengthened presence in the key points of the city, such as the Villa Comunale and the main streets of the center, will improve the livability and serenity of the festive evenings,” added the mayor.
Strengthening police officer shifts municipal will include increased checks on compliance with the highway code, with particular attention to drunk driving, speed limits and illegal parking. “The goal is to ensure not only greater pedestrian safety in the most crowded areas, but also to reduce the risks associated with incorrect driving behavior, which can represent a danger for everyone,” Vicinanza emphasized.
