A 42-year-old worker from Pannarano was working in the Caudina Valley when a steel beam hit him full on. The beam crushed his chest and the alarm was immediately raised. The 118 Airola paramedics rushed to the scene to provide first aid and stabilize him.
Then, the victim was rushed to the emergency room of the San Pio hospital in Benevento. It seems that the worker's conditions are quite serious, but fortunately his life is not in danger. The carabinieri are investigating to shed light on the accident and understand what caused it.
