With the beginning of December, the Royal Palace of Napoli is preparing to welcome its visitors with a series of initiatives and extraordinary openings that will continue until the end of the Christmas holidays.

Christmas tree
One of the most iconic elements is the large Christmas tree positioned on the Scalone d'Onore, visible from both the Courtyard and Piazza Trieste e Trento. This 12-meter-high tree is decorated with a theme that changes every year. For 2023, the chosen color is blue, and at the foot of the tree visitors will find a box where they can insert letters with thoughts and wishes for the coming year.
Christmas offer for visitors
For Christmas, the annual museum pass “Un anno Reale” has been updated and is offered at a cost of 25 euros. This pass allows unlimited access to the Palazzo Reale and includes visits to the Appartamento di Etichetta, the Caruso Museum and the Museo della Fabbrica for a whole year. In addition, discounts are available for companions and reductions on tickets to the Teatro San Carlo.
Exhibitions and special openings
At the end of the tour of the Royal Historic Apartment, visitors will be able to admire the “King’s Nativity Scene”, a rich representation of 700th-century Neapolitan nativity scene art, made with over 210 characters and 144 accessories.
