It took place at the Court of Avellino a new and intense hearing of the trial which sees APM, a twenty-year-old from Rotondi, accused of sexual violence, stalking and threats.
The young man is defended by lawyers Vittorio Fucci and Daniela Martino. During the hearing two crucial witnesses were heard: Brigadier Di Biase, a judicial police officer of the Carabinieri who conducted important investigations, and the ex-boyfriend of the alleged victim, assisted by the lawyer Giovanna Coppola.
The climate in the courtroom was tense, marked by frequent protests by the defense aimed at casting doubt on the credibility of the prosecution's witnesses. The situation was further inflamed by heated verbal exchanges between the defendant's lawyers, the public prosecutor and the civil party's lawyer.
At the next hearing, other witnesses called by the public prosecutor will be heard. In the meantime, APM, recently released from house arrest by decision of the court, remains subject only to the obligation to remain at home and the prohibition to approach the alleged victim.
