Naples - The officers of the Scampia Police Station arrested a 44-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, for illicit possession of narcotics.
Specifically, the police officers, during the operations arranged for this purpose, noticed a person in via Don Lorenzo Milani who, after leaving a building, at their sight, hastily re-entered it to evade the control.
The police reached and stopped the suspect in theentrance hall of the building while he was hiding a transparent envelope inside acavity of a wall of the staircase.
The operators, who promptly intervened, recovered the bag inside which they found approximately 800 grams of hashish and a precision digital scale.
Furthermore, the suspect was found in possession of another 30 grams of the same substance and, for these reasons, was arrested by the operating personnel.

The arrest of the man in Scampia is a serious matter that highlights the problem of drug dealing in our city. It is important that law enforcement continue to do their job to protect the community from these situations.
Despite the efforts of the police, it seems that the drug problem never gets solved. We hope that there will be more controls and similar operations to reduce these crimes.
