Naples – According to investigators, the person who opened fire on Emanuele Durante on the evening of March 15th was Alexander Babalyan, born in the region of Astrakhan in Russia on November 21, 1999 but resident in the Sanità area and linked to the Sequino clan for years.

His name, like that of the instigator and organizer Salvatore Pellecchia, 31 years old, known as “Dudù”, appears in the more than 200 pages of the precautionary order signed by the investigating judge Federica Colucci of the Eighth Section of the Court of Naples which sheds light on the murder of the 20-year-old.
The murder was conceived as revenge for the death of 15-year-old Emanuele Tufano which occurred on the night of October 24, 2024 in Rettifilo area during a firefight between a group of 12 baby Camorristi from the Sanità district and those from the Market district.
Pellecchia is the son of the boss Silvio, who is the brother of Pellecchia Maria Grazia, that is, the
mother of Tufano Emanuele. By virtue of this blood bond, Pellecchia Salvatore and the deceased Tufano Emanuele they are therefore first cousins.
There is a third suspect and it is Vincenzo Brandi, 31 years old, married to Emanuele Tufano's half-sister. The latter is said to have done some reconnaissance on his scooter before the murder of Emanuele Durante. While the person who was riding the scooter when Alexandr o' Polish (even though he is Russian) opened fire has not been identified in via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi.
All the stages of preparation for the murder, then the execution and the escape were footage from numerous cameras public and private present along the crime scene. Then there was an interception activity carried out by the Carabinieri against dozens of relatives of both the victim and the suspects who contributed to fueling the accusatory framework.
The investigations revealed that the murders of Emanuele Tufano and Emanuele Durante are connected. In fact, on the night of the 15-year-old's murder, Emanuele Durante was riding one of the six scooters that left from the Sanità district to challenge and teach a lesson to those in Piazza Mercato.
With him there was such Mattia B., armed with a pistol and who according to investigators took part in the firefight on the night of October 24. From internal investigations to Sequino clan it emerged that all the boys who left from the Sanità district had accused Emanuele Durante of having led them into a sort of ambush during which 15-year-old Emanuele Tufano lost his life.
But the bullet that killed him had certainly come from the gun of one of his friends. All those summoned and questioned by Salvatore Pellecchia did not know or would not say from which weapon the fatal shot came.

The investigations also revealed a strong climate of silence and attempts to mislead the investigation, but also the awareness that everyone knew everything, including Emanuele Durante's parents, who were separated, and then his girlfriend herself, who immediately after the murder had indicated the killer's name as Alexadr o' Polska and then explained to investigators that she had seen nothing.
