After violently hitting a car in front of him, he took to the road escape driving his truck without providing assistance. The alleged hit-and-run driver was identified and reported by the police thanks to the images from the video surveillance system.

The incident occurred yesterday on a city artery between Avellino and Atripalda. The driver rescued by 118 was taken to the hospital with wounds and bruises. The 40-year-old driver of the truck was reported to the Prosecutor's Office of Avellino for injuries and failure to provide assistance.
