The assignment to the two consultants appointed by the investigators to deal with the evidentiary incident on Cell seized from the young people investigated for the sexual violence against the two cousins aged 10 and 12 in Caivano it was cancelled.
The deputy prosecutors coordinating the investigations have decided to consider the evidentiary incident useless since the analyses on the seized devices have already been carried out and are considered exhaustive for the requested investigations.
Contrary to what was previously stated, the date of the evidentiary hearing during which the testimonies of the young victims will be formalized, following the complaints that started the investigation, has not yet been set.
Seven minors and two adults are involved in the investigation into the Caivano rapes.
The summonses sent to the lawyers of the nine defendants concerned all the young people under investigation, as part of the investigation conducted jointly by the Public Prosecutor's Office Napoli North and the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Naples. A fourteen-year-old among the suspects was recently released by decision of the judge and has been placed in a community.
“We are waiting for the completion of the technical activities to obtain confirmation of what was courageously reported by the girls and, above all, by their families,” said attorney Angelo Pisani, legal representative of the family of one of the two girls involved. Pisani also announced today that he has decided to appoint a technical consultant in favor of his side.
"The information provided to investigators - Pisani continued - has allowed them to reveal what was happening in the outskirts of Caivano. We hope that this evidence can support the request for severe penalties for those responsible, since children should not even be touched with a flower".
