On Friday 5 January 2024 at 19.30 pm, the splendid Rame' Terrace of the Gold Tower Lifestyle Hotel will host the Belle Epoque Gala for the Beginning of the Year entitled “Magic of Belcanto and Period Dances“, a sparkling and original combination of lyrical bel canto and period dances.
The Neapolitan lyric trio will perform, composed of three notable voices of international standing:
the soprano Olga De Maio, the tenors Luca Lupoli and Lucio Lupoli, accompanied by the pianist Nataliya Apolenskaja and the well-known Neapolitan actor Sasà Trapanese.
Together with them the Cultural Group “Dancing in Time” of Napoli and of Aversa Palazzo Cascella which will propose splendid solos with fin de siecle costumes and choreography, accompanying with period dances the pieces performed by the three lyric artists, taken from the bel canto salon, operatic, operetta and classical Neapolitan repertoire of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, reproducing and re-proposing the tradition of the magnificent salons of the Belle Epoque.
It will be a truly unforgettable evening to experience a dreamy atmosphere in the early days of the new year, in an extratemporal journey, almost touching the sky with a finger, dominating our beautiful city from above from the suggestive Terrazza Rame', in a show within the show, truly magical and unmissable!
The Event, organized by the Cultural Association Noi per Napoli APS, has a charitable purpose, with the proceeds will be made a purchase of basic necessities for the soup kitchens of needy families in the city of Naples and the province, so the heart of those who will participate in the evening will also support the solidarity initiative of the Association!
