New single by Nino Bruno and the 8 Tracce previews thealbum UTOPIA-IA-O
The second single by Nino Bruno and the 8 Tracce, entitled “Long live Caporetto“, was released online ahead of the album UTOPIA-IA-O. This new track is now available on all digital platforms.
This song follows the first single “Mamma mia che brutte facce” and will be included in the album UTOPIA-IA-O, the fourth of the Neapolitan band. The new album will be released in April.
“Viva Caporetto” is a pacifist glam-rock song, characterized by a danceable rhythm and lyrics that evoke the national defeat in a compelling way. music features a mix of carnival trumpets and hard rock nonsense, creating a festive and adventurous atmosphere.
Elements of this song, excluding the hard rock genre, recall the homonymous story by Curzio Malaparte from 1921, “Viva Caporetto!”, whose title was censored by the regime of the time. However, the band decided to adopt this title with the hope of drawing strength and motivation from it.
With this new production, Nino Bruno and the 8 Tracce express a message of peace and suggest not to rejoice over the death of enemies.
