“This is good news”, thus the president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, commented on the announcement of Antonio's arrival Tale as the new coach of NapoliSpeaking on the sidelines of a press conference at Palazzo Santa Lucia, the governor expressed optimism but also wanted to warn fans.
“Let's not expect miracles tomorrow morning,” De Luca suggested. “A sporting path needs to be rebuilt, but I believe that Tale is the right person. He is a man of temperament, a fighter.”
De Luca also appreciated Conte's ability to adopt a defensive strategy: “Then, at least from the point of view of my little sporting philosophy, he is also capable of playing as a catenaccio, which I like a lot.”
The President of the Region praised Napoli's imaginative and spectacular football last season, comparing it to the best teams of the past: “Imaginative, effervescent, Dutch football is beautiful.
I must say that, from this point of view, Napoli last season was a fantastic team, truly on the level of the best Brazil and Van Basten's Holland.
But these are exceptions. Generally in championships you also have to know how to dig in the trenches.
From this point of view, Conte seems appreciable to me.”
