# Naples Hosts the International Ethnic Music Festival “Ethnos”

From September 12 to 14, 2024, Naples will host the "Ethnos" International Festival of Ethnic Music. Organized by La Bazzarra and directed by Gigi Di Luca, this event is funded and promoted by the City of Naples as part of the "Naples City of Music" project. The concerts will be held in the Complex and Church of Santa Maria Donnalbina, located at Via Donnalbina 14. Six concerts are scheduled over the three days of the festival, with free admission.

After the Neapolitan stage, the XXIX edition of Ethnos will continue until October 5th with events in the municipalities of the Vesuvian area. The first appointment will be Sunday, September 15th at Villa del Parnaso in Torre Annunziata, where Naïssam Jalal, a French-Syrian flautist and composer, will perform. Jalal is known for her fusion of Arabic melodies, contemporary jazz and African rhythms, making her one of the most fascinating figures on the international music scene.
