Starting from Thursday 12th September, as expected, the train service on the NAPLES-Baiano line will resume. This was communicated by Eav.
“Due to the ongoing interruption on the NAPLES-Volla route, due to the three-year works by the Municipality of NAPLES at the Centro Direzionale, the line's journeys will run along the Baiano-Volla-San Giorgio a Cremano-NAPLES route.
At San Giorgio a Cremano, you can change to trains coming from Poggiomarino and Torre Annunziata and headed to NAPLES. Similarly for the reverse route”, says the Ente Autonomo Volturno. However, some trips are scheduled, at the beginning and end of the day, which will run on the entire line without requiring changes at San Giorgio.
All the details are published on the website eavsrl.it. The replacement or alternative bus services remain confirmed, which allow, among other things, to reach the Poggioreale and Centro Direzionale stations which are on the still closed route:
Nola-NAPLES and vice versa; Pomigliano d'Arco-NAPLES and vice versa; Volla-NAPLES-Volla (circular); Volla-Casoria-Volla (circular). The bus timetables are on the website eavsrl.it. "We will evaluate with the mayors and committees of the area - Eav communicates - variations of the service on rubber or on rail in the coming weeks, based on the needs and within the limits of economic compatibility".
