“L’avaro immaginario” was presented on December 8th at the Teatro Sociale Aldo Giuffrè in Battipaglia, attracting the attention of the audience thanks to the participation of the actress Nunzia Schiano. This theatrical show pays homage to classical theater, capturing the essence of the seventeenth century and the influence of Molière through a compelling narrative.
Nunzia Schiano recently participated in an interview with TvCircle, offering a deeper insight into her experience in the show. During the meeting, she discussed the collaborative artistic process with Enzo De Caro, the artistic director, and the work on the “Compagnia di famiglia dei Fratelli dè Bruno da Nola”, an imaginary ensemble of comedians d’arte that represents the heart of itinerant and popular theater.
A Journey Through Time
The show is structured in seven scenes, with a prologue and an epilogue, creating a journey that is both real and imaginary. The story follows the Company fleeing the plague, heading towards Paris and the theatrical world of Molière. During the journey, the group's "traveling cart" transforms into a stage, taking the theater to the most unexpected places and offering performances in front of passers-by, transforming every square into a space for artistic expression.

In the interview, Nunzia Schiano expressed her enthusiasm for the project: “I decided to be there because I was intrigued by this work by Enzo De Caro, to be there to reinterpret… Being part of this narrative is a joy and a responsibility.” This reflects the artists’ commitment to blending the boundaries between reality and fiction, allowing the human vitality of the characters to emerge.
