The artistic season of the New Sancarluccio Theatre continues
The artistic season of the Nuovo Teatro Sancarluccio continues with an unmissable event. From November 8 to 10, the acclaimed actress Nunzia Schiano will perform on the stage of the hall in via San Pasquale a Chiaia 49 with the show “Mater Purgatorii”. The performance times are set at 21:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, while on Sunday the show will start at 18:00 pm.
A Deep Look into Motherhood
Masterfully directed by Giuliana Tabacchini, the performance represents a reading that strikes for its intensity and dramatic impact. Thanks to the careful direction of Francesco Mucci, “Mater Purgatorii” offers a profound reflection on the value of motherhood. 'In this reading/monologue, we explore the figure of the mother through different facets: places, faces and voices. All these elements revolve around the figure of the mother of mothers, the Madonna,' we read in the notes. This research questions how, regardless of place of belonging, religious belief or personal ideas, the soul of each individual should be seen as equal.
