Victor Osimhen still positive for covid.
The Napoli football club announced it on its social media profiles. "The molecular nasopharyngeal swab carried out this morning on the footballer Victor Osimhen, gave a positive result for Covid-19. The player will repeat the test this week". This is the text of the company's press release. The Napoli striker tested positive on January 1st after returning from treatment in Belgium and then from his birthday in Nigeria where he had participated, lightheartedly, in a surprise party that his family had organized for his 22nd birthday.
The youngster apologized to the club, his teammates and the fans but there was no shortage of criticism. Now we await the decisions of the club which should impose a heavy fine on him. In the meantime, Osimhen remains in isolation awaiting the next test.
