Royal Palace of Caserta, October 19th presentation of the Ecomarathon of the Caroline Aqueduct

Thursday 19 October at 11 am in the Art Meeting Room of the Palace of Caserta will be held theEcomarathon of the Aqueduct of Carolino.

The competition takes place between two provinces, that of Benevento and that of Caserta, promoting knowledge of the route of the engineering work designed by the master Luigi Vanvitelli, and reaches its finish line in the Flora Gardens of the Royal Palace of Caserta.

The Ecomarathon of the Carolino Aqueduct is organized, in collaboration with the Royal Palace of Caserta, by the ANFI of Maddaloni, by the ASD Suessola Runners of S. Maria a Vico and by the ASD Power of Casagiove in collaboration with the UISP of Caserta and the Royal Palace of Caserta, with the patronage of the Provinces of Caserta and Benevento and the Municipalities of Caserta, Airola, Bucciano, Moiano, Sant'Agata dei Goti, Durazzano, Valle Di Maddaloni, S. Maria a Vico, Maddaloni, of the Dea Diana Park and of the Mountain Community of Taburno.

The collaboration of the forestry plumbers of the Province of Caserta is essential for the care and cleaning of the route. The press conference, moderated by the journalist Lucia Grimaldi, will be attended by the director of the Royal Palace of Caserta Tiziana Maffei, the provincial councilor delegated to Forestry and Civil Protection Angelo Campolattano, the president of the Comunità Montana Monte Taburno Gennaro Caporaso, the president of the ANFI section of Maddaloni Giuseppe Farina, the president of the Dea Diana Park Andrea Pirozzi and the provincial commander of the Guardia di Finanza of Caserta Nicola Sportelli. Together with the novelties and routes of this race, the solidarity purposes of the event will also be presented, which, with its proceeds, will give a group of children with autism spectrum disorder the opportunity to fly from Capua airport to the Royal Palace of Caserta.
