The mayor of Giugliano Nicholas Pirozzi, officially awarded the citizenship Italian to the footballer of the Napoli Piotr ZielinskiThe ceremony was held at the Giugliano Municipality.
Zielinski, a 29-year-old Polish midfielder who has been with Napoli since 2016 (in Italy since 2011, first with Udinese and then with Empoli), who became Italian champion with the Azzurri at the end of last season, has been a resident for several years in the Varcaturo district of the municipality of Giugliano. The procedure for obtaining Italian citizenship, which began in October with a ceremony at the Prefecture in which he was recognized as having the necessary requirements, came to an end today with the signing of the oath report before the mayor Nicola Pirozzi.
The mayor of Giugliano gave Zielinski a copy of the Italian Constitution, before taking him on a brief tour of the town hall.
