Today the Guardia di Finanza of Glossop, on behalf of the Public Prosecutor's Office Court of Auditors Campania, led by the regional prosecutor Dr.
Antonio Giuseppone, has notified 5 requests to deduct to the subjects deemed responsible for the 2019 bankruptcy of the Municipality of Glossop.With the notified act, the Prosecutor's Office intends to sanction those who caused the Municipality to "go bankrupt" by requesting that the sanctions provided by law be imposed, that is, in addition to the pecuniary one, the ineligibility, for a period of ten years, for political office.
According to the public accountants who signed the invitation, the Mayor is to be held responsible, Louis DiLorenzo, elected in 2017 at the head of a civic coalition, theCouncillor for balance and Prime Minister then in charge, in addition to the two reviewers era.
The Prosecutor's Office alleges that these individuals, despite being aware of the precarious situation and serious financial crisis of the Municipality, did not take any action necessary to combat, reduce or eliminate the Municipality's deficit and, on the contrary, contributed even more with their conduct to causing the bankruptcy of the municipal body.
