Another request for help arrived late yesterday evening to the emergency number "112" to report an assault in progress. This time the operator who received the SOS is that of the Carabinieri Company of Aversa, and the one who requested the intervention was an exasperated mother, frightened by her son's constant threats.
The elderly woman, deeply worried, reported to the police station officer that her 36-year-old son had just passed by her house and, in a fit of rage, had threatened to kill her and, subsequently, had attacked his father with a kitchen knife, in the presence of his brother.
She also specified that the threats she received were due to her constant requests for money.
The immediate intervention of the Carabinieri at the reported home allowed, following the complaint filed by the victims, exasperated by the continuous threats of the 36-year-old, already reported in the past at liberty for similar behavior, to proceed with his arrest.
The man, tracked down at his home in Wall, was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison and placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority. He will have to answer for mistreatment against family members or cohabitants and extortion.
