Parete, death threat to parents and brother: arrested

Another request for help was received late yesterday evening on the emergency number “112” to report an assault in progress.

The elderly woman, very worried, reported to the police station officer that her 36-year-old son had just passed by her house and, in a fit of rage, had threatened to kill her and, subsequently, had attacked his father with a kitchen knife, in the presence of the brother.

She also specified that the threats she received were due to her constant requests for money.

The immediate intervention of the Carabinieri at the reported home allowed, following the complaint filed by the victims, exasperated by the continuous threats of the 36-year-old, already reported in the past at liberty for similar behavior, to proceed with his arrest.

The man, tracked down at his home in Wall, was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison and placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority. He will have to answer for mistreatment against family members or cohabitants and extortion.
