Juventus has fired Massimiliano Allegri for just cause. The now former Juventus manager received the letter of dismissal after being dismissed from his position on May 17th for “certain behaviors during and after the Coppa Italia final that the club deemed incompatible with the values of Juventus and with the behavior that those who represent it should have.”
THEepisode in the final of the Italian Cup the black and white club was referring to when he was sacked occurred in the 94th minute of Atalanta-Juventus, won by a one-goal advantage: it was May 15 and the coach had been sent off after tearing off his jacket and tie and protesting by shouting at the referee's designator for a free kick awarded to the opponents.
Allegri has now received notification of his dismissal while he is in London to follow the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. Juve has therefore terminated the contract of the Livorno coach a year before it expires and now we will have to see if the coach will decide to take other paths, with new assignments, without wanting to discuss the matter, or if he will try to appeal to the labor court or ask for damages to his image.
