The Neapolitan Court, accepting Limongiello's grounds for appeal, had already reduced the sentence handed down in the first instance by the Avellino Tribunal from 21 years to 14 years of imprisonment for aggravated voluntary homicide.
Limongiello, assisted by the lawyer Mario di Salvia of the Avellino court, has proposed a new appeal for a further reduction of the sentence aiming to definitively contain the sentence below 10 years since he was not recognized as having provoked or acted on the morning ofmurder in a state of anger.
