The commissioner of Napoli has ordered the suspension for 15 days of the food and beverage service activity of a bar located in the historic center, on the proposal of the Decumani Police Station.
This measure was taken following a violent episode that occurred on July 29th.Late in the evening of July 29, officers from the Montecalvario Police Station intervened at the Vecchio Pellegrini Hospital, where an individual with stab wounds had arrived. Investigations conducted immediately after the incident revealed that the man had been injured during a brawl broke out for trivial reasons inside the bar in question and then continued outside the premises.
This is not the first time that this bar has come under the scrutiny of the authorities. Between 2020 and 2024, the commercial establishment had already been subject to several license suspensions by the Police Chief of Napoli, for a total of 65 days of closure. This new measure, implemented yesterday, aims to prevent further risks to public order and citizen safety.
