Presence of Listeria monocytogenes in some Iceberg lettuce batches packaged at the Bellizzi plant, in the province of Salerno. This is what emerged from normal routine checks carried out by the competent authorities at a point of sale. In response to the discovery, the manufacturing company immediately activated a precautionary recall procedure for only the affected batches.
